Auris exists for one reason: hearing aids that cost £2,400 in a clinic shouldn't cost £2,400. We design, manufacture and ship medical-grade hearing technology directly to the people who need it — cutting out the markups, the multi-week fitting appointments and the pressure to upgrade every two years.
What we make
Auris Comfort is a UKCA-certified Class II medical device, built around the same digital signal processing chip used in several premium clinic brands. We pair it with a self-fitting app, a wireless charging case and a 45-day home trial — and sell it for less than a tenth of the clinic price.
Who we are
We're a team of 27 audiologists, engineers and customer-care specialists based between Manchester and Cambridge. Our clinical lead, Dr. Sarah Whitfield, has 30+ years of experience in adult audiology and helped shape the Auris fitting algorithm.

Where we're going
We've shipped to over 3,200 UK households since 2024. Next, we're expanding into the EU, releasing accessibility partnerships with three major UK charities, and launching a recycling programme so every Auris device has a second life.
